StarTree featured on EC website
The StarTree project is featured this month on the European Commission's H2020 website.
The article, "Foraging the untapped value of Europe’s forests", describes how StarTree is investigating the untapped commercial potential of products like wild berries, mushrooms, nuts and plants growing in Europe’s forests, providing a clear overview of what is available, as well as demonstrating how rural communities can better manage and commercialise these resources.
Horizon 2020 is the EU's Research and Innovation funding programme with nearly €80 billion of funding available over 7 years (2014 to 2020). It promises more breakthroughs, discoveries and world-firsts by taking great ideas from the lab to the market. Horizon 2020 replaces the EC FP7 programme, through which StarTree receives its funding.
