The West Wales and The Valleys Regional Stakeholder Group benefits greatly from the experience, advice and guidance of representatives from the Welsh Government, research establishments, local and national landowners groups, community woodlands managers, support agencies, and NWFP producers. We have started with a small group of key people, and will increase as the project develops to include stakeholders relevant to particular phases of the project.
The WW&TV regional Stakeholders will help to disseminate information on Startree to their networks and contacts and will assist in the data collection in some cases. They will help us guide the project to make the best use of the resources available and ensure that Startree has a lasting impact on the development of NWFP in the region, by increasing its profile and developing new opportunities.

The StarTree case studies for Llais y Goedwig focus on small enterprises that use woodlands and specifically Non Wood Forest Products (NWFPs) to generate an income in an innovative way. They show how, with ingenuity and dedication woodlands can provide us with much more than timber.
Startree attended the Royal Welsh Agricultural Show again this year as part of the Llais y Goedwig stand in the forestry section. It was a chance to meet up with some of our existing stakeholders and make contact with new ones, as well as raising the profile of Startree to a wider audience.

Rydym wedi cychwyn arni gyda grŵp bach o bobl allweddol gan gynyddu hyn wrth i'r prosiect ddatblygu i gynnwys rhanddeiliaid sy'n berthnasol yng ngyfnodau penodol o'r prosiect.
The First Startree Regional Stakeholder Group for the West Wales and The Valleys (WW&TV) region, was held on the 11th September at Coed y Brenin's woodland centre in Mid Wales.
As part of the stakeholder engagement process being carried out for the Startree project in the West Wales and the Valleys region, Llais y Goedwig hosted a launch event at the Royal Welsh Show on July 23rd.
