StarTree results were featured in the FP7 Result in Brief section of the European Commission's website.

The article states that forests, which make up 35 % of the EU's landmass, are key to Europe's bioeconomy, particularly in rural areas, and describes how the StarTree project tapped into the potential of non-wood goods towards an innovative, resource-efficient and bio-based economy.
