Elearning: Wild Forest Products Marketing

nwfp-training-740StarTree partner University of Padova is now offering a free elearning course on the theory and practise of marketing wild forest products. The course is based on the training school organised in March 2016 under the COST Action FP1203: European non-wood forest products network. The online course was compiled in collaboration with the StarTree project.

The learning materials are divided into three modules. The first module "Wild Forest Product context analysis: marketplace & regulations" frames the context of any initiative related to wild forest products marketing. The second module "Strategic marketing" presents the general instruments to select and organize the supply of wild and semi-wild products working on the issues of segmentation (targeting), differentiation and positioning. In the final module on operational marketing the focus is on building a business plan.
