On 31 May, representatives of 9 public and private institutions concerned with multipurpose forest management and non-wood forest products (NWFP) attended the first stakeholder meeting of the case study Province of Valladolid within the European StarTree project.
StarTree General Assembly was a busy week for the 44 participants who met in Riga, Latvia, from 7-10 May. At least one representative attended from each of the 24 StarTree consortium partners who were hosted by the Latvian State Forest Research Institute (Silava).
More than 45 participants from all over Europe gathered in the historic site of Sant Pau, Barcelona, in November for the start of the largest European project on non-wood forest products (NWFP).
