Non-wood products and the bioeconomy: last chance to register!
Registrations will close on 11 June 2014 for the Joensuu Forestry Networking Week: Non-wood products: an opportunity for bioeconomy.
The Joensuu Forestry Networking Week (JFNW) invites young and experienced scientists, professionals, policy makers, decision takers, and other stakeholders to discuss non-wood products and bioeconomy issues in Joensuu, Finland on 2-4 September 2014.
The programme includes intensive interaction between the participants and keynotes, group work and a field excursion. The best experts on NWFPs will be in Joensuu to work together. The keynotes include Paul Vantomme (FAO), who has dealt with the topic for decades, Tytti Sarjala (METLA), who leads the participants to the world of pharmaceutical compounds and two StarTree partners: Sven Mutke (INIA), a key expert on multi-purpose trees and Davide Pettenella (UNIPD), who will discuss NWFPs and rural economies.
JFNW presents the perfect opportunity to experience a 3-day intensive brainstorming in Joensuu!
